Exam grades – January 2013

The grades for the final exam are now available online. As I have told you, I have scaled the grades such that the maximum one (35 points) is assigned to the maximum grade (10). Everybody that has a grade over 4.5 (18p) has passed the exam, but only if you also have the necessary score in order to pass the intra-semester activities (close to 30p).

I am reminding you that in case you have passed the exam, assignment 3 can be submitted to Iulia until tomorrow. Afterwards, I shall compute  the final grades.

Final exam – 24th January 2013

Tomorrow, 24th January 2013, the exam shall start for both groups in CB105 at 1PM.

Just a gentle reminder that in order to take the exam you need to have at least:
– one submitted assignment if you have over 5 out of 10 points for the lab score;
– two submitted assignments if you have less than 5 out of 10 points for the lab score;

Moreover, all students that have the lab+assignments score less than 1.5 out of 6 points for the grades received for the lab + first two assignments are not allowed to take the exam.

Lab 6 – MST

A spanning tree of a given connected undirected graph is a subgraph that connects all the vertices. One graph may have several different spanning trees. For a weighted graph, the weight of its spanning tree is the sum of the weights of its edges.
